IPOB Reacts to the Sack of Governor Obiano from Church

The image-maker of the separatist group, IPOB has denied sacking Governor Obiano from the church as widely reported in the media.

The Independent People of Biafra has through her publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful accused the federal government, Anambra State government and the political elites in Nigeria for sponsoring fake news aginst her members.

The body has recently been accused of massive attacks on campaign grounds, churches and other activities which witnessed a governorship faithfuls in the coming Nov 18th election in Anambra

According to Emma Powerful who responded to the attack on the Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano, "these government contractors mobilized people who went to Catholic church harassed those in a church service in Ekwulobia in order to create room for security operatives begin to arrest our members in Ekwulobia and it’s environs.

IPOB leaders and members are very intelligent people who cannot involve in any act of violence.

"It is crystal clear to all and sundry that IPOB under Nnamdi kanu remain non-violent in their pursuit for Biafra freedom and cannot change our methods of peaceful approach towards the restoration of Biafra.

The election boycott in Anambra come November this year remain but cannot cause any violence.

"We are aware that some politicians and Nigeria security employed some uneducated individuals and groups in the society to harass the general public in the name of IPOB members.

some government contractors printed IPOB t- shirts and Biafra flag with huge amount of money to be shared to the hungry youths to claim to be IPOB members under Nnamdi kanu.

"We are advising the general public beware of fake IPOB who were paid by politicians to cause confusion in Anambra and states in Biafra"
