Interesting: Anthony Joshua Reveals What He Told Wladimir Klitschko During Their Fight at Wembley Stadium (Video)

Celebrated Nigerian-British boxing champion has revealed the hot exchange he had with Wladimir Klitschko during their heated bout.

World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has revealed what he and Wladimir Klitschko said to each other during a feisty sixth round filled with trash talk last Saturday night.

The pair traded blows in one of the greatest heavyweight fights in British boxing history in front of 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium, before Joshua emerged victorious with an 11th round stoppage.

In the build-up to the battle, AJ and Dr Steelhammer had showed each other the utmost respect – but all that changed during the fifth round.

Klitschko rallied in the sixth, having been dropped by Joshua in the previous round, to knock the Brit down with a powerful one-two that looked as though it would cause a shock upset as AJ stumbled to barely make it through the 10-count.

“I just told him ‘If you let me get through this round, I'm gonna beep [f***] you up’ and he said ‘I’m going to knock you out’,” Joshua told Colin Murray during a Facebook Live interview for Under Armour.

“It's competition talk.”

The Olympic gold medallist went on to describe the moment he hit his Ukrainian foe with the now-iconic uppercut in the 11th round that set him on the path to victory.

“I knew these two rounds were vital I knew it was close. I stepped it up, boom boom boom boom,” he recalled.

“Subconsciously, I don't know where it came from, I just whipped it up and saw his chin – it was like an exorcism where he's looking at the back of the crowd.

“He started trying to disguise when you're hurt and I thought this is my chance to take him out and I just tried to land every punch, I threw the kitchen sink at him and I finally got him out of there in the end.”

Joshua – who has frequently been compared to former world champion Frank Bruno – was hailed by none other than Mike Tyson as the biggest name in world boxing following the stunning victory over Klitschko.
