There are indications that embattled cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman may have bought a Mercedes Benz GL-450 said to be worth $76,000, owned by Nollywood actress, Daniella Okeke.
The general overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries has been at the centre of a sex scandal involving one Ms Stephanie Otobo who has continued to accuse the cleric of having a sexual relationship with her.
Otobo’s claims surfaced after her lawyers wrote to the inspector-general of police to demand her release after she was arrested by policemen in Lagos for allegedly trying to blackmail the cleric.
The Canada-based singer was subsequently released by the police while her lawyers maintained that they had pictures of Apostle Johnson Suleman in compromising poses to back Otobo’s claims.
At a recent press briefing about her affair with the pastor, Otobo named actress Daniella Okeke as one of the other women with whom the cleric had affairs.
Social media users checking the Instagram page of the actress shortly after the allegation was made, were said to have found pictures of her Mercedes GL-450 and attempted to verify its ownership on a Lagos state-owned website for vehicle registration.
According to Sahara Reporters, there was a match between the licence plate number on Okeke’s Mercedes Benz GL-450 as shared on her Instagram page and the number on a Mercedes Benz GL-450 registered to Apostle Johnson Suleman.
An independent check by viewing the page source on the verification page indeed showed that the Mercedes Benz GL-450 with registration number MUS 123 EJ was registered to Apostle Suleman Johnson but there was no way to confirm that the number plate on Okeke’s GL 450 was the same.
