The in-coming president of the Gambia Adama Barrow is to be sworn in at Gambian embassy in Senegal today..
His spokesman Halifa Sallah, who made this known today, said;
“It is going to take place at the Gambian embassy in Dakar, they have changed the venue, at 4:00 pm (1600 GMT),”
Organisers had planned a large ceremony in a stadium in The Gambia but were forced to change plans due to the political crisis caused by incumbent Yahya Jammeh’s refusal to step down.
Barrow himself tweeted the information earlier the today.
