Police Officer Inusa Saidu Biu from Borno State
A police officer based in the northern part of Nigeria appears to have invited trouble to himself after a controversial Facebook post.
The Nigerian Police says it has commenced investigations into the comments made by an alleged officer Inusa Saidu Biu from Borno State who threathened to kill 200 people if President Muhammadu Buhari should die.
If found guilty, the man could be suspended from work or demoted to serve as a deterent to other people making careless statements on social media.
A statement signed by the force's PPRO, reads;
RE – POLICEMAN THREATENS TO KILL 200 NIGERIANS IF BUHARI DIES
The Nigeria Police Force has commenced investigation into the unfortunate Personal comments made by the alleged Police officer named Inusa Saidu Biu on his Facebook account.
Police officers are not to make unauthorized public comments.
